Brad Oscar returns to the Broadway cast of The Producers, after making his West End debut in the show at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. An original cast member of The Producers, Brad graced the Broadway stage as Max for more than two years and created the role of deranged Nazi playwright Franz Liebkind. He garnered a 2001 Tony Award nomination for his portrayal of Franz and a Best Actor Award from the Independent Reviewers of New England for his performance as Max. An original cast member of Jekyll & Hyde, Brad also performed in the show’s national tour. He made his Broadway debut in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Aspects of Love and later toured with the show. From 1992 to 1994, he played a variety of colorful characters in Gerard Alessandrini’s long-running musical revue Forbidden Broadway, both Off-Broadway and in Los Angeles.

Other theatre credits: Encores! production of Do Re Mi and Santa in The Radio City Christmas Spectacular in Los Angeles and Branson.

Film: upcoming feature films The Producers, Building Girl and Rydal Park.

Television: NBC-TV’s hit TV series “Law & Order” and “Law & Order: Criminal Intent”.

Brad is a graduate of Boston University’s School for the Arts and has taught musical theatre techniques at Marymount Manhattan College. A native of Washington, DC, he was an original cast member of the local television series "In Our Lives."
